One Water Leadership Institute: Adaptive Leadership

January 12, 19, and 26, 2021
9:30am - 12:30pm PT

Hosted by Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District and US Water Alliance

One Water is a transformative idea that envisions managing all water in an integrated, inclusive, and sustainable manner. This approach requires new interventions that are outside traditional water management techniques. This work starts with you, requires a clear purpose, and is complex. It is the work of adaptive leadership.

This members-only Leadership Institute provides participants an opportunity to strengthen their practice of One Water leadership by learning the adaptive leadership framework. This Institute is co-lead by Michael Mucha, Chief Engineer and Director of Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District and Member of the US Water Alliance’s One Water Council, and Laurel Sukup, Chief of Sustainability and Business Support, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. This three-day Institute draws on decades of experience in a broad range of change efforts and supports the development of additional leadership capacities that enable One Water transformation.

One Water Leadership Institutes are free of charge for US Water Alliance Members
