Barriers and Gateways to Green Infrastructure

The U.S. Water Alliance (Alliance) will release its much anticipated report Barriers and Gateways to Green Infrastructure on September 13, 2011 with a free webinar as part of the VirtualH2O conference. Tune-in as Alliance President Ben Grumbles presents the results from our comprehensive, national survey conducted last Spring that solicited more than 200 utilities, NGO’s, government and private entities to determine what sorts of obstacles they experienced when implementing green infrastructure programs. Based on the survey results, Grumbles will discuss policy recommendations with representatives from partner organizations including American Rivers, The Conservation Fund, Low Impact Development Center, Smart Growth America, and the Urban Water Sustainability Council. The research survey was funded by the Turner Foundation to help inform U.S. EPA’s upcoming Stormwater regulations due to be released December 2, 2011. Learn more and RSVP HERE.
